The workshop* is more than just a vocal endeavour. Freddie brings fun and compassion to all his classes and the students will not only feel an immense sense of interaction but actually share the room and the stage with an artist who has sung with many wonderful musicians in all parts of the globe.
The main aim is to unlock vocal uncertainties and create a positive environment where students feel comfortable to be themselves. At the same time the expectation is to have the students respond in a creative and encouraging manner to form a unit and group mentality. Through knowledge, dedication and practice, students will have the skills to create free-form improvisation as well as being able to work adhesively with other jazz musicians. He believes a balance of focused practical technique and enjoyment of the music will equal to excellence and allow the student to excel far beyond their own expectations.
